A.
All builders, contractors, operators of trucks, excavation equipment
and other vehicles using the streets in Lawson; Missouri, shall be
liable for any damage to the streets within the City limits of Lawson,
Missouri.
B.
All builders and/or primary contractors shall notify all subcontractors
and material suppliers of this Section, but the builder and/or primary
contractor shall be held responsible and liable for any damage to
the streets or non-compliance of this Section.
C.
It shall be the duty of the City of Lawson Building Inspector to
notify the builder and/or the primary contractor of this Section when
a building permit is issued.
D.
All other vehicle owners or operators not mentioned in Subsection (B) of this Section shall also be liable for any damages done to the streets of Lawson, Missouri.
E.
All owners or drivers of vehicles are cautioned to refrain from dropping
mud and other materials on the streets of Lawson, Missouri, and shall
clean up any droppings from their vehicles as soon as possible, or
be held liable for any costs incurred by the cleanup.
F.
It shall be the duty of the Building Inspector to prepare a routing system for any trucks and vehicles that use the streets of Lawson in support of builders and contractors for work done in the City of Lawson, Missouri. This routing notice shall be given to all persons who receive building permits, and a copy given to all suppliers mentioned in Subsection (A) by the holder of the valid permit.
G.
It shall be the duty of the Building Inspector and/or the City Police
to notify the amount of damage on the streets to any operator of the
vehicle that has caused the damage.
H.
Penalty. The penalty for damage to the street shall be in the amount
of actual damage and be assessed against the violator of this Section.
