Every person engaged in the business of selling new motor vehicles within the City shall pay to the City Clerk a license fee of one dollar fifty cents ($1.50) for each new motor vehicle sold by any such person. No license shall be issued for the sale of new motor vehicles for less than one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00), which sum shall be paid at the time the license is issued.

A. 
Every person engaged in the business of selling used motor vehicles within the City shall pay to the City Clerk a license fee of seventy-five cents ($0.75) for each used motor vehicle sold by any such person.
B. 
No license shall be issued under the provisions of this Article to any person engaged in the business of selling used motor vehicles for a sum of less than seventy-five dollars ($75.00) which license fee shall be paid at the time any such license is issued. Any additional license fee to be collected under the provisions of this Article shall be paid on or before August first (1st) of every year.
