Upon all highways, streets or alleys or portions thereof within this municipality, where directional signs or markings are placed, or signs or markings reading "One Way" or words to that effect, vehicular traffic shall move only in the indicated direction, and when such indicating signs or markings are plainly visible at any place, movement in the opposite direction is prohibited. The following streets are specifically designated as one-way:
