The voting polls in the Village of Trempealeau, Trempealeau County, Wisconsin shall be opened from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. for all elections.
All electors for all elections shall be required to be registered. The Village Clerk-Treasurer shall receive applications for registration at Village polling places on election days upon presentation of proper identification and proof of residency.
A. 
The Village of Trempealeau, pursuant to § 66.0101, Wis. Stats., hereby elects not to be governed by those portions of § 8.05(1), Wis. Stats., relating to the caucus system of nomination of candidates to Village elective office which are in conflict with this section.
B. 
Candidates for an elective office in the Village of Trempealeau shall be nominated, as necessary, by a Village nonpartisan primary, as specified in § 8.05(4), Wis. Stats.

A. 
The Village of Trempealeau adopts the attached map of Trempealeau County's ward plan dated October 24, 2011 as the official map for election purposes in the Village of Trempealeau.[1]

B. 
For all elections held in the Village of Trempealeau, Wards 1 and 2 will be combined into common Village of Trempealeau ballots, without distinction between wards.
