If the property of the Borough on the premises of the consumer
becomes damaged in a manner other than by normal usage, the cost of
inspection, repairs, replacement and additional Borough expenses for
remediation of such damaged property shall be paid by the customer.
The customer shall not permit any person except an authorized
Borough representative to have access to or to do any work on any
meter or other Borough apparatus located on the consumer's premises.
The customer shall notify the Borough promptly of any defect
in service or of any trouble or irregularity of the electric supply
provided by the Borough.
If at any time the wiring, fixtures, or appliances of the customer
are found to be defective or dangerous by the Borough's representative,
service may be refused or discontinued until the customer has the
condition corrected. The Borough's responsibility in this is limited
to the protection of the Borough's service equipment at the point
of delivery.
