The Seal adopted and now used, with the inscription engraved
on it, "City of Louisiana, Mo., Seal El Sol." in the center, is hereby
continued and shall be used as the City Seal.

The corporate boundaries of the City shall be as designated
by the Official Map of the City on file in the office of the City
Clerk.

A.
On
the first (1st) day of July, 1991, the Board of Public Works for the
City of Louisiana shall be dissolved and all Board members thereof
shall cease to have any authority whatsoever in all matter that touch
and concern the City of Louisiana, Missouri; except such authority
as may be held by all residents of the City of Louisiana.
B.
All
of those powers, rights, duties, obligations, money, accounts receivables,
accounts owing, interests in litigation, interests in real estate
and personalty, and all other concerns and objects held by said Board
of Public Works shall be returned to the City of Louisiana, Missouri,
on the effective date written above. All references to the Board of
Public Works in this Code of Ordinances of the City of Louisiana shall
be read to mean the City of Louisiana.

From and after April 19, 1990, if the City of Louisiana incurs
costs in response to a release or threatened release of hazardous
substances, the person, persons, corporation or corporations, party
or parties, entity or entities responsible for said release or threatened
release of hazardous substances shall reimburse the City of Louisiana
for all costs incurred by the City in response thereto.
