A. There
shall be a curfew for the City parks from sunset to sunrise. No one
shall be allowed in the parks during such period, and all persons
are hereby prohibited from being in the City parks after dark, except
in those facilities in the City parks that are provided with lighting,
which are the City tennis courts and the City swimming pool.
B. The
provisions of this Section may be waived by obtaining a written permit
from the City Clerk or the Superintendent of Parks of the City.

No horses, whether being ridden or not, no motorized vehicles
including all-terrain vehicles and minibikes shall be allowed and
are hereby prohibited and banned from being within the boundaries
of any public park within the City.

An area of land possessed by the City of Louisiana, located
as Marshall S. Allens 5th Addition, City of Louisiana, Missouri, commonly
referred to as "Lincoln Park" shall now be officially redesignated
as "Lincoln School Park".

A. Subject
to the provisions listed below, to insure that the youth of this community
continue to be served in the future by the Louisiana, Missouri Khoury
League, the City of Louisiana will allow the Louisiana, Missouri Khoury
League the right of first refusal for the ball fields located at Wallace
Park, Louisiana, Missouri, every year for the periods of April first
(1st) to July fifteenth (15th) or at the end of all Louisiana, Missouri
Khoury League events scheduled for that particular season, whichever
comes first.
1. Mondays through Fridays, sunrise to midnight.
2. Saturdays, sunrise to midnight.
3. A current field schedule is publicly posted at Wallace Park in a
conspicuous area, by an authorized member of the Louisiana, Missouri
Khoury League. This schedule shall show the dates, times and brief
description of all Khoury League activities to take place on the fields.
Care shall be taken to allow public play on the fields when not in
use by Khoury League.
4. All events scheduled during the prescribed times are Khoury League
sanctioned events.
5. The Louisiana, Missouri Khoury League shall make a reasonable effort
to honor requests for the fields which originate from the Louisiana,
Missouri School System. If a scheduling conflict, which cannot be
resolved should occur between the Louisiana, Missouri School System
and the Louisiana, Missouri Khoury League, the matter shall be brought
before the City of Louisiana Buildings and Grounds Committee for resolution.
6. The Louisiana, Missouri Khoury League continues to assist with maintenance
and improvements to the ballparks located at Wallace Park equaling
four thousand dollars ($4,000.00) per year, including donations and
volunteer help.

Reservations for City parks will follow a procedure set out
by policy, which has been approved by the City Council. The Mayor
or Mayor's designee shall be responsible for approving or denying
the application for park rentals.
