A. A person
commits the offense of driving while revoked if:
1. He/she operates a motor vehicle on a highway when his/her:
a. License or driving privilege has been canceled, suspended or revoked
under the laws of this State, regardless of whether the person has
a valid license in any other State; or
b. License or driving privilege has been canceled, suspended or revoked
under the laws of any other State;
and
2. He/she acts with criminal negligence with respect to knowledge of
the fact that his/her driving privilege has been canceled, suspended
or revoked.
