Decks, Patios, Sunrooms, Porches, Swimming Pools, Spas, Driveways,
Hot Tubs, Gazebos And Accessory Buildings. One percent (1%)
of valuation based upon construction contract, which includes reasonable
cost of labor and materials, and if no contract exists, substantiated
by documentation and an estimate of labor cost using prevailing labor
rates or upon the reasonable cost of labor and materials if there
is no construction contract, twenty-five dollars ($25.00) minimum
charge. (Note: The Plans Review Committee will estimate the cost if
the applicant does not present documentation of material and labor
cost.)
Completion bond (renovating/alterations). The
contractor or builder, prior to start of construction, will secure
a completion bond. The amount of the bond is based on the following
formula.
0 to $20,000.00 — Bond $300.00 of which $250.00 will be
placed into escrow to be returned following final inspection.
$20,001.00 to $50,000.00 — Bond $500.00 of which $400.00
will be placed into escrow to be returned following final inspection.
$50,001.00 to $100,000.00 — Bond $1,000.00 of which $750.00
will be placed into escrow to be returned following final inspection.
Over $100,001.00 — Bond $1,500.00 of which $1,000.00 will
be placed into escrow to be returned following final inspection.
