It shall be unlawful for any person to erect a building in the Village of Marlborough or to demolish an existing building or to make alterations or additions in any existing building without first procuring a zoning permit for so doing. The approval permit fee shall be ten dollars ($10.00).

A.
Applications for such permit shall be filed with the Village Clerk on a form or blank to be furnished by the Village Clerk for that purpose containing:
1.
The name of the owner of the premises where said building is to be erected, demolished, repaired or altered.
2.
The name and address of the contractor or person doing said work.
3.
The general nature of the work to be done.
4.
The time within which it is proposed to be completed.
5.
If a new building or an alteration of an existing building, a rough sketch or plan of the work to be done or the building to be erected or altered.
6.
The estimated cost of the proposed project.
7.
The applicant's promise to indemnify the Village of Marlborough against any and all loss and damage caused by and resulting from the performance of said work.
