A.
For the purposes of this section, "sick leave" shall mean absence of any employee in the unclassified service from post of duty because of illness, accident, exposure to contagious disease or attendance upon a member of the employee's immediate family seriously ill requiring the care or attendance of such employee.

B.
Every employee of the City in the unclassified service shall be granted sick leave with pay, in accordance with the provisions of the Salary and Wage Ordinance of the City of Camden.[2]

C.
Any sick leave not taken for any calendar year shall accumulate to the employee's credit from year to year, and the employee may take such accumulated sick leave with pay if and when needed.
