While employees have a right to maintain personal web pages and websites, their status as an employee of the City of Camden requires that the content of those web pages and websites not be in violation of existing City policies.

The City Council of the City of Camden hereby adopts an On-line Social Network/Personal Web Page Policy for Officers, Employees and Members of Boards and Commissions as follows:
A.
Employees shall not express a personal opinion as an official City or department policy or position.
B.
Any item, object, or material that could be used or misconstrued as official City- or department-sanctioned property shall not be used or depicted on any personal Internet posting without the express written permission of the Business Administrator.
