§ 19-1 Composition.

The Board of Education of the City of Absecon City shall consist of seven members.

§ 19-2 Appointments; vacancies.

The Board of Education of the City of Absecon City shall be appointed by the Mayor. Any vacancies occurring in the membership of the Board shall be reported forthwith by the Secretary of the Board to the Mayor of the City of Absecon City, who shall within 30 days thereafter appoint a qualified person to fill the vacancy for the unexpired term.

§ 19-3 Terms of office.

Each member of the Board of Education shall be appointed for a term of three years and all members shall serve after the expiration of their respective terms until the appointment and qualification of their successors.
