No person shall move or remove snow or ice from private lands
upon any public street, sidewalk or common land of the Town in such
a manner as to obstruct or impede the free passage of vehicular or
pedestrian traffic upon a way, sidewalk or common land of the Town.
No owner or occupant of land or other person shall move or place,
or cause to be moved or placed, snow and/or ice to any place, in such
manner as to result in such snow or ice blocking or impeding access
to or use of public fire hydrants. This section shall not apply to
plowing or snow removal performed by the Department of Public Works
of the Town.
Violations of any provisions of this bylaw shall be punished as set forth in Chapter
58, Penalties and Enforcement. Each day such violation continues shall be considered a separate offense.
