This Part
2 shall be known and may be cited as "The Regulation of Drainage Pipes for Driveways Ordinance of Logan Township."

The following words and phrases when used in this Part
2 shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:
PERSON
Any association, firm, partnership, corporation or any other
entity, as well as, a natural person male or female. The singular
shall include the plural.
TOWNSHIP COORDINATOR
The person authorized and empowered by the Logan Township Board of Supervisors to issue permits designating the type of pipe required and to oversee the enforcement of this Part
2.

It is hereby ordained that from and after the effective date of this Part
2 it shall be unlawful for any person to install, cause to be installed or permit the installation of driveways over Township culverts, ditches and drains without first securing a permit from the Township Coordinator; and it shall be unlawful for any person to install, cause to be installed or permit the installation of any driveway not in accordance with the specifications hereinafter set forth.

The Township Coordinator, upon application of any person desiring
to install a drainage ditch, culvert or drain on a Logan Township
right of way, shall issue a written permit designating the size and
type of pipe to be used for said ditch so as to insure proper and
actual flow of water in the said ditch, and to insure the pipe will
withstand the weight of vehicles traveling over such drive.

1. Enforcement. Any police officer and/or other person authorized by
the Board of Supervisors may enforce the provisions of this Part.
2. Penalty. Any person who shall violate any provision of this Part
shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine of not
less than $100 and not more than $1,000 plus the cost of prosecution,
and/or be sentenced to imprisonment for a term not to exceed 90 days.
Every day that a violation of this Part continues shall constitute
a separate and distinct offense which shall be subject to the aforesaid
penalties.
