The St. Louis County Elevators Code, as amended, three (3) copies
of which are on file in the office of the City Clerk, which was adopted
by the County of St. Louis on October 15, 1988, is adopted as the
Elevators Code of the City as if fully set forth herein. The St. Louis
County Building Code, also known as 1996 BOCA National Building Code,
adopted by Ordinance No. 18,580 on August 7, 1997 and the St. Louis
County Mechanical Code, also known as 1993 BOCA National Mechanical
Code, adopted by Ordinance No. 16,914 on March 17, 1994, as they apply
to periodic mechanical inspections only are hereby adopted as the
Building and Mechanical Codes, as they apply to periodic mechanical
inspections of elevators only, for the City of Oakland, Missouri,
as if fully set forth herein.
