(a) 
It shall be unlawful for any person to park or stand a vehicle, whether occupied or not, in a private driveway or on private property without the express or implied consent of the owners or person in lawful possession or control of such driveway or property.
(b) 
Any violation of Subsection (a) of this section is punishable by a fine of $15. Any fines not paid within 72 hours, excluding Saturday, Sunday and holidays, shall be increased to $25.

The Township Board shall have the power to designate fire lanes on both public and private property. Such lanes shall be designated in those areas which must be kept clear of parked cars and other obstructions in order to allow access to buildings, parking lots, churches, schools, hospitals, stores, apartments, mobile homes, and homes for firefighting equipment, ambulances, police vehicles, and other emergency equipment.

The authority to establish the specific locations of fire lanes shall be initiated by the appropriate members of the Township staff and shall become effective upon approval by resolution of the Township Board, filing with the Township Clerk, and erection of adequate signs giving notice of the existence of such regulation. All such regulations creating fire lanes, including any actions modifying or repealing such regulations, shall be kept by the Township Clerk in the Traffic Control Order Book under the heading of "Fire Lanes." No person shall post a fire lane sign or otherwise designate a fire lane that has not been approved and adopted by the Township Board. All unauthorized signs or designations shall be immediately confiscated or otherwise removed.

In addition to the penalties hereinafter provided, any public safety officer may have any vehicle parked in a fire lane removed therefrom at the owner's expense without liability to the officer or the Township. In addition, any public safety officer responding to any alarm may have any vehicle parked in such a manner as to obstruct progress through a fire lane removed or moved aside by any available means, regardless of damage to such vehicle, without liability to either the officer or the Township, and such officer may command assistance in such removal from those on the scene in the event of an emergency.

No person shall park any motor vehicle within, or otherwise obstruct in any manner, a designated fire lane. The owner or operator of any vehicle parked in a fire lane shall be guilty of a misdemeanor. Any provision of this article which describes an act or omission which constitutes a civil infraction under the terms of the Michigan Vehicle Code (MCL § 257.1 et seq.) shall be processed as a civil infraction and any person found to have committed a civil infraction shall be ordered to pay a civil fine of not more than $100 and costs in accordance with § 907 of the Michigan Vehicle Code (MCL § 257.907).
