A. 
Permitted Uses. The following are permitted and accessory uses in the "M-1" Light Industrial District:
1. 
Amusement or baseball parks.
2. 
Assaying (other than gold or silver).
3. 
Aviation schools. (Operation of engines prohibited.)
4. 
Bakeries — wholesale.
5. 
Blacksmith, horseshoeing or wagon shops.
6. 
Body and fender work.
7. 
Bottling works.
8. 
Carpet cleaning.
9. 
Cat and dog hospitals.
10. 
Cold storage plants.
11. 
Engraving.
12. 
Hand forge.
13. 
Machine shops using less than a total of twenty (20) H.P., or fifteen (15) kilowatts.
14. 
Manufacture of: products from aluminum, brass, bronze, copper, steel, tin or other metal and from bone, leather, paper, rubber, shell, wire or wood, or any kind other than those classified under District "M-2" or "M-3", provided power in excess of six (6) H.P. is not employed in the operation of any one (1) machine.
15. 
Milk bottling or central distribution stations (must have satisfactory waste disposal).
16. 
Monument or marble works, finishing and carving only, and excluding stone cutting.
17. 
Pattern shops.
18. 
Spray painting or paint mixing (must have satisfactory waste disposal).
19. 
Stamping, dyeing, shearing or punching of metal, not exceeding one-eighth (1/8) inch in thickness.
20. 
Veterinary hospitals.
21. 
Wholesale produce markets or wholesale sales rooms.
22. 
Any use permitted in District "C-3".
B. 
Height, Yard And Area Regulations For "M-1" District. In District "M-1", the height of the buildings, the minimum dimensions of lots and yards and the minimum lot area per family permitted on any lot shall be as follows; provided that buildings erected exclusively for dwelling purposes shall comply with the front, side, and rear yard requirements of District "R-4":

Height. Same as "C-4".
2. 
Front yards. Same as for "C-3".
3. 
Side yards. Same as for "C-3".
4. 
Rear yards. Same as for "C-3".
5. 
Lot area per family. Same as for District "C-3".
