Village of Homer Glen, IL Part 11 Technical Amendments and Clarifications to International Fuel Gas Code

§ 75-27 General changes.

The following general changes are made to the International Fuel Gas Code 2015:

A. Delete "ICC Electric Code" in its entirety and insert "NEC 2014."

B. Delete "ICC Plumbing Code" in its entirety and insert "Illinois Plumbing Code, most current edition."

§ 75-28 Amendments, additions and deletions.

The following amendments, additions and deletions to the International Fuel Gas Code 2015 are adopted:

A. Section 101.1 shall be amended to read as follows:

101.1 Title. These regulations shall be known as the "Fuel Gas Code of the Village of Homer Glen."

B. Section 101.3 is amended to read as follows:

101.3 Appendices. Appendix A, Sizing and Capacities of Gas Piping; Appendix B, Sizing of Venting Systems Serving Appliances Equipped with Draft Hoods, Category I Appliances, and Appliances Listed for Use and Type B Vents; Appendix C, Exit Terminals of Mechanical Draft and Direct-Vent Venting Systems; and Appendix D, Recommended Procedure for Safety Inspection of and Existing Appliance Installation are specifically adopted by the Village of Homer Glen and shall apply.

C. Section 106.6.2 is amended to read as follows

106.6.2 Fee schedule. The fees for work shall be as indicated in Chapter 75, Article I, Part 15, Schedule of Building Permit Fees, of the Homer Glen Village Code.

D. Section 107.2 Required inspections and testing, is amended by inserting the following in the section after its last sentence: "All underground inspections shall be required for the interior of a building. Any other inspection may be required by the code official at his or her discretion."

E. Section 201.3, Terms defined in other codes, is amended as follows: Delete "ICC Electrical Code" and "International Plumbing Code" and insert "NEC 2014" and "Illinois State Plumbing Code, current edition."
