The following general changes are made to the International Fuel Gas Code 2024:
A. 
Delete "ICC Electric Code" in its entirety and insert "NEC 2023."
B. 
Delete "ICC Plumbing Code" in its entirety and insert "Illinois Plumbing Code, most current edition."
The following amendments, additions and deletions to the International Fuel Gas Code 2024 are adopted:
A. 
Section 101.1 shall be amended to read as follows:
101.1 Title.
These regulations shall be known as the "Fuel Gas Code of the Village of Homer Glen."
B. 
Section 101.2.1 is amended to read as follows:
101.2.1 Appendices.
Appendix A, Sizing and Capacities of Gas Piping; Appendix B, Sizing of Venting Systems Serving Appliances Equipped with Draft Hoods, Category I Appliances, and Appliances Listed for Use and Type B Vents; Appendix C, Recommended Procedure for Safety Inspection of and Existing Appliance Installation are specifically adopted by the Village of Homer Glen and shall apply.
C. 
Section 111.2 Required inspections and testing, is amended by inserting the following in the section after its last sentence: "All underground inspections shall be required for the interior of a building. Any other inspection may be required by the code official at his or her discretion."
D. 
Section 201.3, Terms defined in other codes, is amended as follows: Delete "International Plumbing Code" and "Illinois State Plumbing Code, current edition."
