A certain document, a copy of which is on file in the office
of the Building Inspector of the City of Neosho, Missouri, being marked
and designated as "The International Fuel Gas Code, 2018 Edition,"
including the Appendix Chapters A, B, C and D, as published by the
International Code Council, be and is hereby adopted as the Fuel Gas
Code of the City of Neosho, Missouri, for regulating and governing
fuel gas systems and gas-fired appliances as herein provided; providing
for the issuance of permits and collection of fees therefore; and
each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions
and terms of said Fuel Gas Code on file in the office of the City
Clerk are hereby referred to, adopted and made a part hereof, as if
fully set out in this Chapter.

The following Sections are hereby revised as follows:
Section 101.1. Insert: City of Neosho, Missouri.
Section 106.6.2. Insert: twenty five dollars ($25.00) for inspection.
Section 106.6.3. Insert: Refunds; in the case of revocation
of a permit or abandonment or discontinuance of a building project,
fees collected under the above Sections shall be refunded where such
work has not been commenced prior to abandonment thereof; however,
if any such work has been commenced, no refund of any fee shall be
made.
Section 108.4 Insert: Misdemeanor, five hundred dollars ($500.00),
thirty (30) days.
Section 108.5 Insert: zero dollars ($0.00), five hundred dollars
($500.00).

A. Any person violating any of the provisions of this Chapter or the
provisions of the Fuel Gas Code adopted in this Chapter shall be deemed
guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined
in an amount not exceeding five hundred dollars ($500.00) or be imprisoned
in the City or County Jail for a period of not exceeding ninety (90)
days, or both such fine and imprisonment. Each day such violation
is committed or permitted to continue shall constitute a separate
offense and shall be punishable as such hereunder.
B. In addition to the imposition of the penalties herein described,
the Building Inspector is authorized to institute appropriate action
to prevent unlawful construction or to restrain, correct or abate
a violation; or to prevent illegal occupancy of a structure or premises;
or to stop an illegal act, conduct of business or occupancy of a structure
on or about any premises.
