All new underground facilities including but not limited to pipes, conduits, and lines for water, electric, gas, sewer, telecommunications, and broadband, constructed or replaced after August 28, 2025, shall include a tracer wire the entire length of such facility to make the location of such underground facilities easier and more accurate, unless the facility is already locatable using electronic methods. Tracer wire shall be 12 AWG copper jacketed wire minimum.
