A certain document, copies of which are on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Pacific, being marked and designated as the 2018 International Fuel Gas Code as published by the International Code Council, is hereby adopted as the Fuel Gas Code of the City of Pacific and the terms of said Fuel Gas Code are hereby referred to, adopted and made a part hereof as if fully set out in this Section with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, described in Section
500.155.

A. The following Sections of the International Fuel Gas Code, 2018 Edition,
are hereby revised:
1.
FG101.1 Title: These regulations shall be known
as "the Fuel Gas Code of the City of Pacific, Missouri," hereinafter
referred to as "this code."
2.
FG106.6 Fees Schedule: The fees for work shall be as indicated in the schedule established in Article
IX of this Chapter.
3.
FG106.6.3 Fee Refunds: Delete in its entirety.
4.
FG108.4 Violation Penalties: Any person who shall
violate a provision of this code or shall fail to comply with any
of the requirements thereof or who shall erect, install, alter or
repair plumbing work in violation of the approved construction documents
or directive of the Code Official, or of a permit or certificate issued
under the provisions of this code, shall be guilty of an ordinance
violation punishable as provided in Section 100.170 of
the Code of Ordinances of the City of Pacific.
5.
FG108.5 Stop Work Orders: Upon notice from the
Code Official, work on any plumbing system that is being done contrary
to the provisions of this code or in a dangerous or unsafe manner
shall immediately cease. Such notice shall be in writing and shall
be given to the owner of the property, or to the owner's agent,
or to the person doing the work. The notice shall state the conditions
under which work is authorized to resume. Where an emergency exists,
the Code Official shall not be required to give a written notice prior
to stopping the work. Any person who shall continue any work in or
about the structure after having been served with a stop work order,
except such work as the person is directed to perform to remove a
violation or unsafe condition, shall be guilty of an ordinance violation
punishable by a fine of not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00).
6.
FG109.2 Membership of Board of Appeals: The Board
of Appeals shall consist of the Board of Adjustment.
7.
FG603.1 Log Lighters: Delete in its entirety. Add:
Log lighters are prohibited.
