The Seal of the City shall be kept by the Clerk of the City
Council and shall be affixed by him to such papers and documents that
require a Seal.

The Seal of the City, Coat of Arms, and other heraldic devices
of the City shall be as described and illustrated by the pamphlet
"Heraldry for the City of Fredericksburg," by Harry D. Emple, copyright
number A258768, City of Fredericksburg, filed in the document book
of the City Council designated as D72-302.

A. The
Seal of the City, Coat of Arms and other heraldic devices shall be
deemed the property of the City. No person shall exhibit, display,
or in any manner utilize the Seal or any facsimile or representation
of the Seal of the City, Coat of Arms, and other heraldic devices
of the City for the purpose of conveying, or in a manner reasonably
calculated to convey, a false impression of sponsorship or approval
by the City of Fredericksburg or by any department, agency, or instrumentality
thereof.
B. Any
person violating this section shall be guilty of a Class 4 misdemeanor.
