Any person, firm, corporation or other entity who or which shall violate or fail to comply with any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to fine or penalty not exceeding $1,000 or imprisonment for not more than 15 days, or both such fine and imprisonment for each and every offense. Each day during or on which a violation of this chapter shall occur or continue shall be deemed a separate and distinct offense.
