There shall be a Community Preservation Committee in accordance with Chapter 267 of the Acts of 2000, as amended,[1] which shall consist of nine members: one member of the Conservation Commission as designated by the Commission; one member of the Planning Board as designated by the Board; one member of the Historical Commission as designated by the Commission; one member of the Housing Authority, established under MGL c. 121B, as designated by the Authority; one member of the Park and Recreation Board as designated by the Board; one member of the City Council as recommended by the City Council President and appointed by the Mayor; and three citizens not currently holding elected or appointed office appointed by the Mayor. Any vacancy shall be filled by the respective board, commission, Housing Authority or Mayor for the remainder of the unexpired term.
