A. The
following rules and regulations are hereby accepted for the City parks
of the City of Vinita Park, St. Louis County, Missouri.
1. Hours. No person shall be permitted on the park
grounds between the hours following one-half (½) hour after
sunset and one-half (½) hour before sunrise of any give day.
2. Intoxicating liquor. Intoxicating beverages are
hereby prohibited on park grounds.
3. Vehicle parking.
a. No person shall park any vehicle in any space other than that designated
for the purposes of parking.
b. Any vehicle, including trucks and buses, whose GVW is in excess of
twelve thousand (12,000) pounds is hereby prohibited on the parking
lot.
4. Fires. No fires shall be built except in those areas
designated for such purposes; any fire within the designated area
shall be extinguished before the person in charge of same leaves the
park.
5. Rubbish and debris. Rubbish and debris shall be
placed only in designated containers.
6. Damaging property. Any tree, shrubbery, natural
life, or any other property being a part of the park or park equipment
shall not be defaced, vandalized or removed from the parks.
7. Weapons. The use of any type of firearms, guns,
bows and arrows, slingshots, propelled-type equipment and the like
is prohibited.
8. Camping. The placing of tents or other type of camping
is hereby prohibited.
9. Domestic animals. Domestic animals are hereby prohibited
on the park grounds.
10. Horses. The riding of horses or any other animals
within the park is hereby prohibited.
11. Picnic tables or benches. Moving of picnic tables
or benches from the park area is hereby prohibited.
12. Charge for use of parks or other facilities. It
shall be prohibited for any party, other than the City of Vinita Park,
to charge for the use of parks or any other of its facilities.

The City, at any time, may require reasonable fees for the use
of any City park and any park facilities. Said fees in no way shall
exceed the cost of maintaining the parks without prior voter approval.

There shall be no ball playing of any type in the City park
located near Korea and Gulf.

Any person violating any provision of this Chapter shall be subject to the penalty provided in Section
100.220 of this Code.

A. Any
person, firm or corporation that rents or uses the pavilions in the
Vinita Park City parks shall be responsible for the cleanup of the
area occupied and used by the guests of the person, firm or corporation.
B. In
the event the pavilion is rented, any cans, bottles, garbage, rubbish,
trash, food that is left in the area that is occupied by the renter
and guests shall be the responsibility of the person signing the rental
agreement.
C. In
the event the area used is not cleaned up, in addition to the penalty
of forfeiting any security deposit that may have been put up, the
party or parties will also be in violation of the nuisance and littering
ordinances of the City of Vinita Park.
D. Any
person, firm or corporation violating this Section is subject to a
fine not to exceed one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) per violation
plus court costs.
