[HISTORY: Adopted by the Borough Council of the Borough of

As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the
meanings indicated:
The carrying by a person of a lighted cigar, cigarette, pipe
or other lighted smoking device.
Includes the definition of "smoking" as stated above, and
also includes the carrying of any tobacco products, including but
not limited to snuff, chewing tobacco and any related product.
No person shall smoke or carry any tobacco product in or on
any Borough property, lands or buildings that have been posted with
a "No Smoking" notice.
The Borough Council, by resolution duly passed at a public meeting
of Borough Council, shall designate such Borough property, lands or
buildings that are subject to the aforesaid prohibitions.
Penalties shall be as provided in the Clean Indoor Air Act,
35 P.S. § 637.1 et seq.
This chapter shall be enforced by the Borough Police Department
and/or the Pennsylvania State Police.
