Following the effective date of this Part, it shall be unlawful
to park, or allow to be parked any motor vehicle or other vehicle
on any street, road or highway which has been adopted by the Township
of Jefferson, during the months of October, November, December, January,
February and March. All vehicles must be no less than four feet from
paved cartway and all culs-de-sac must be free of obstacles, in order
for the Township road maintenance crew to remove snow to the edge
of the pavement.

Following the effective date of this Part, it shall be unlawful
to push snow from private property onto a public road or highway,
or to push snow that has been previously plowed back from any public
road or highway by the Township road maintenance crew, back onto the
public road or highway, thus creating a hazard to the welfare and
safety of people lawfully using the public highway.

Any employee of Jefferson Township engaged in road work is hereby
authorized to cite or have cited by the Township Codes Enforcement
Officer, the owner(s) of any vehicle parked within four feet from
the paved cartway of any street, road or highway adopted by the Township
of Jefferson, including culs-de-sac. And, any employee of Jefferson
Township engaged in road work is hereby authorized to cite or cause
to be cited by the Township Codes Enforcement Officer, the property
owner(s) responsible for pushing snow onto or back onto any public
highway.

Any person violating any of the provisions of this Part shall,
upon conviction before a district magistrate, be sentenced to pay
a fine of not less than $25 and not more than $100 and the cost of
prosecution.
