The Council of the City of Lower Burrell shall constitute the
Board of Health of the City of Lower Burrell.
The powers and duties of the Board of Health shall be those powers and duties set forth in the Third Class City Code, 1931, June 23, P.L. 932, Art.
I, § 101, 1951, June 28, P.L. 662, § 1, as the same now exists or may hereafter be amended, 53 P.S. § 35101 et seq.

The Board of Health shall enter into a joint cooperation agreement
with the Boards of Health of the Cities of Arnold and New Kensington,
Pennsylvania, providing for the appointment of a health officer for
the Cites of Arnold, New Kensington and Lower Burrell, Pennsylvania,
who shall be one and the same person, providing for the adoption of
uniform rules and regulations, rate and method of compensation payable
to said health officer, and for the appointment of costs and revenues
of health services between the Cites of Arnold, New Kensington and
Lower Burrell, Pennsylvania.
Said agreement shall be executed by the Mayor, who shall be
the Chairman of the Board of Health, and attested by the City Clerk,
who shall be the Secretary for the Board of Health.

The Councils for the Cities of Arnold, New Kensington and Lower
Burrell, Pennsylvania, may change the joint cooperation agreement
and rules and regulations from time to time by resolution enacted
simultaneously by each City.
