The office of Assistant to the Mayor is hereby created, and such person shall be appointed by the Mayor and shall hold office for a period of one year. The initial term shall be from April 1, 2014, until December 31, 2014.
Duties of the Assistant as determined by the Mayor shall be as follows:
A. 
Special projects.
B. 
Reports and recommendations.
C. 
Speeches, articles and correspondence.
D. 
Constituent services.
E. 
Manage Mayor's calendar.
F. 
Arrange for community interaction.
