The Zoning Commission previously appointed by the Board of Aldermen
is hereby appointed as the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City
of Cottleville. All proposed preliminary plans,improvement plans and
final plats required by this Article shall be submitted to the Planning
and Zoning Commission for review. The Planning and Zoning Commission
shall approve or disapprove any proposed preliminary or final plat
within sixty (60) days after its submission to the Planning and Zoning
Commission at a public meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission,
except that the Planning and Zoning Commission may extend such sixty
(60) day period with the consent of the applicant. If the proposed
plat is not approved or disapproved within such sixty (60) day or
extended period, it shall be deemed approved by the Planning and Zoning
Commission. Approval of the proposed final plat by the Planning and
Zoning Commission is subject to review by and approval of the Board
of Aldermen. The Planning and Zoning Commission shall state the reasons
for any disapproval of any plat.
