On and after the effective date of this article, all parks and
playgrounds owned by the City of Lower Burrell shall open and close
in accordance with posting by the Director of Parks and Public Property,
and all persons using said parks and/or playgrounds shall vacate said
parks and playgrounds at that time.
The Parks and Public Property Director of the City of Lower
Burrell may grant special permission to groups or organizations upon
proper application therefor to use said parks and/or playgrounds after
the established closing time, within the discretion of said Director
of the City of Lower Burrell.
Fisher Hall shall be closed on the following days of the calendar
year:
A. New Year's Eve (December 31).
E. Christmas Eve (December 24).
Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any provision
of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay
a fine of not more than $600 plus costs and, in default of payment
of said fine and costs, to a term of imprisonment not to exceed 30
days.
The Council of the City of Lower Burrell may revise the dates
and times set forth in this article by resolution.
