A certain document, three copies of which are on file in the Office of the Clerk of the Township of Greenwich, being marked and designated as "The International Property Maintenance Code (2009 Edition)" and published by the International Code Council, Inc., be and is hereby adopted subject to § 520-2, the amendments and revisions as the Property Maintenance Code of the Township of Greenwich, in the State of New Jersey; for the control of buildings and structures as herein provided; and each and all regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said International Property Maintenance Code are hereby referred to, adopted and made a part hereof, as if fully set out in this article, with the additions, deletions and changes if any prescribed herein.

The International Property Maintenance Code 2009 is amended and revised in the following respects:
A. 
Chapter 1:
(1) 
Section 101.1. Insert "Township of Greenwich."
(2) 
Section 102.3. Delete "International Zoning Code" and insert "Chapter 700, Local Zoning Code."
(3) 
Section 102.7. Chapter 8 (Referenced Codes and Standards): Under ICC, delete "IEBC-09/1PC-09/12C-09" and insert "NSPC-09 National Standard Plumbing Code."
(4) 
Section 103.5. Fees. Delete.
(5) 
Section 111. Means of Appeal. Delete.
B. 
Section 302.4. Weeds. Delete and insert Chapter 242, Brush, Weeds, Snow and Ice.
C. 
Section 303. Swimming Pools, Spas and Hot Tubs. Delete and insert Chapter 614, Swimming Pools.
D. 
Section 304.1.1. Delete "International Existing Building Code" and insert "N.J. Rehabilitation Subcode."
E. 
Section 305.1.1. Delete "International Existing Building Code" and insert "N.J. Rehabilitation Subcode."

Any person who shall fail to comply with or who violates any of the provisions of this chapter shall, on conviction of such violation, pay a fine not exceeding $500 or be subject to imprisonment for a term of not more than 90 days, or both, for each violation, in the discretion of the Municipal Judge.
