A. The City of Ironton and the Mayor of said City of Ironton, on behalf
thereof, are hereby required and directed to enter into and execute
an agreement with a certified public accountant chosen by the Board
of Aldermen of the City of Ironton for the purpose of conducting an
annual audit. The certified public accountant shall conduct an annual
audit of all books, records and accounts of all departments of the
City of Ironton.
B. The annual audit shall be conducted each and every year for the year
ended June 30. Before execution, the proposed agreement between the
City of Ironton and a certified public accountant for said annual
audit shall be submitted to the Board of Aldermen at its regular monthly
meeting for approval.
