All lateral sewers connected to the City sewer line shall be constructed using SDR-26 piping. The size, slope, alignment, and materials of construction of the building sewer, and the methods to be used in excavating, placement of the pipe, jointing, testing, and backfilling the trench, shall conform to the requirements of the Building and Plumbing Code or other applicable rules and regulations of the City. In the absence of specific Code provisions, or in amplification thereof, the materials and procedures set forth in the appropriate specifications of the A.S.T.M. and the Water Pollution Control Federation (W.P.C.F.) Manual of Practice No. 9 shall apply.
