The purpose of this chapter is to establish policies and procedures for the collection of fees associated with the performance of marriage or civil union ceremonies by the Mayor or his authorized Deputy.
Persons seeking to be married or joined in a civil union by the Mayor of the Town of Belvidere shall remit a fee of $100 to be paid to the Town of Belvidere. An administrative fee of $25 shall be included within the above established fee. Any fee collected shall be deposited into the Municipal Current Fund.
It shall be left to the Mayor's discretion to determine if a fee should be waived for undo hardship.
