A. Any
organization, group, business, individual or other persons desiring
to hold any type of function, activity or social event at the Stockton
City Square on City-owned property must first apply for and obtain
permission from the Board of Aldermen of the City of Stockton.
1. The costs for such events will be set by the Board of Aldermen and
subject to change upon a vote of the Board.
2. The Board of Aldermen shall have complete discretion regarding the
approval of such permits and may impose such regulations and conditions
as the Board deems appropriate.

A. It
shall be a violation of this Section for a person to drive or part
a vehicle, except for emergency or other authorized vehicles, into
the closed area of the street during the hours of 3:30 P.M. on the
first (1st) day of the Walnut Festival until Midnight of the last
day of the festival.
B. It
shall be a violation of this Section for a person to disobey any direction
of a Law Enforcement Officer concerning parking or vehicular traffic
during the above-mentioned hours of the Walnut Festival.
C. It
shall be a violation of this Section for any unauthorized person to
move or in any way tamper with any ropes, barricades or signs that
are used for traffic control during the Walnut Festival.
D. Violation
of this Section shall carry a fine of not less than twenty-five dollars
($25.00) and/or towing of the vehicle with costs charged to the owner
and/or both.
