Records retention and disposition — See Ch. 55.
The following rules and regulations shall apply to the public
inspection and copying of the records of the Town of North Collins,
as provided by law, and shall remain in effect until altered, changed,
amended or superseded by further resolution of this Town Board or
by action of the Committee on Public Access to Records established
pursuant to Chapters 578, 579 and 580 of the Laws of 1974.[1]

The records access officer shall be the Town Clerk of the Town
of North Collins, whose office address is 2051 Spruce Street, North
Collins, New York 14111.[1]

All requests for inspection or copying of records shall be made
to the Town Clerk of the Town of North Collins at 2051 Spruce Street,
North Collins, New York. The telephone number of the Town Clerk is
(716) 337-3391.
Requests to inspect or copy records may be made in person or
by mail at any time during regular working hours on all regular working
days as posted by the Town Clerk.[1]

No fee shall be charged for certifying that a record cannot
be found nor for certifying to the correctness of a record nor for
the inspection of a record. Fees for providing copies of records shall
be paid to the order of the Town of North Collins. The fee for reproduction
of copies is $0.25 per page. For pages over the size of eight and
8 1/2 inches by 14 inches, the fee shall be the cost of reproduction.[1]
