A.
The Enrollment Office shall maintain a current membership roll of
tribal members containing the name and tribal identification number
of each person on the membership roll.
B.
The membership roll may be viewed by any enrolled member at least
18 years of age during regular business hours; provided they schedule
an appointment with the Enrollment Office.
C.
An employee of the Enrollment Office or member of the Enrollment
Committee must be present and oversee any enrolled member's viewing
of the membership roll. No portion of the membership roll may be copied
or transcribed by the individual viewing the membership roll.
Upon receipt of appropriate documentation, the Enrollment Office
is authorized to update the information in an individual member's
file and on the membership roll. It is the sole responsibility of
the enrolled tribal member, or his/her parent or guardian, to keep
the Enrollment Office apprised of name changes, address changes or
other relevant information as prescribed in the enrollment policies
and procedures.
A.
The Tribe shall have no liability to any applicant or member for
benefits or privileges available to enrolled members, which the applicant
or member loses or fails to qualify for because the applicant or member
failed to timely notify the Enrollment Office of a name change, address
change or other relevant information.
B.
The Tribal Council shall have the power to temporarily suspend the
approval of new requests for enrollment when such action is determined
to be necessarily to preserve the health, safety and welfare of the
Band; provided that no suspension on approval of applicants for enrollment
shall apply to any child born on or after January 1, 2019, who is
the biological child of an enrolled member of the Band so long as
the application for enrollment for such individual is submitted before
he or she reaches the age of 21.
