Unless otherwise stated in this article, the appellate procedures
found in the NHBPCR-Nine shall apply to all appeals.
Any party to a Juvenile Court hearing may appeal a final Juvenile
Court order to the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi Appellate
Court.
Any party seeking to appeal a final Juvenile Court order shall
file a written notice of appeal with the Court within twenty-eight
(28) calendar days of the final order.
The clearly erroneous standard shall be used in reviewing the
findings of the Juvenile Court on appeal.
For purposes of appeal, a record of proceedings shall be made
available to the juvenile, the parent(s), guardian or custodian, the
juvenile's counsel and others upon Court order. The party seeking
the appeal shall pay costs of obtaining the record.
A stay of execution of the judgment may be ordered either by
the lower Court or upon order of the appellate Court if denied by
the lower Court.
