A certain document, three (3) copies of which are on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Caruthersville, Missouri, being marked and designated as the International Fuel Gas Code, 2006 Edition, including Appendix Chapter A (see International Fuel Gas Code Section 101.3, 2006 Edition), as published by the International Code Council, be and is hereby adopted as the Fuel Gas Code of the City of Caruthersville in the State of Missouri for regulating and governing fuel gas systems and gas-fired appliances as herein provided; providing for the issuance of permits and the collection of fees therefor; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said Fuel Gas Code on file in the offices of the City of Caruthersville are hereby referred to, adopted and made a part hereof, as if fully set out in this Section, with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in Section 517.015 of this Code.

The following Sections are hereby revised as follows:
Section 101.1. Insert: City of Caruthersville
Section 106.5.2. Insert: Such fees as may be established by the City Council from time to time
Section 106.5.3. Insert: 90% and 50% respectively
Section 108.4. Insert: Ordinance violation, $500.00, 90 days
Section 108.5. Insert: Not less than $100.00 or more than $500.00.

Any person violating the provisions of this Chapter or the code adopted in this Chapter, as a violation is defined in Section 108 of the International Fuel Gas Code, shall be deemed guilty of an offense and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in an amount not to exceed five hundred dollars ($500.00) or be imprisoned for a period not to exceed ninety (90) days, or both such fine and imprisonment. Each day such violation is committed or permitted to continue shall constitute a separate offense and shall be punishable as such hereunder.
