All Officials and employees of the Town shall carry out their
duties in accordance with the highest ethical standards, regardless
of personal considerations. Their conduct shall (a) at all times be
for the public good and within the bounds of law, (b) comply with
the Charter and the Town Code of Ethics and (c) avoid conflict between
public and private interests and responsibilities. The Board of Ethics
shall have the authority to interpret the provisions of this Article
10 and the Town's Code of Ethics.
The Board of Selectmen shall establish by ordinance a Code of
Ethics governing the conduct of elected and appointed Officials and
employees of the Town. The Code of Ethics shall be supplied to all
Officials and employees of the Town.
