The City of Duquesne does hereby adopt as its standard specifications
for public improvements the standard specifications set forth in the
City of Duquesne, Missouri, Standard Specifications for Public Improvements
March 2005, Revised October 2009, Revised May 2017.

The City of Duquesne does hereby adopt as its stormwater management
design manual the stormwater management design manual set forth in
the City of Duquesne, Missouri, Stormwater Management Design Manual
dated March 2010, a copy of which is on file in the office of the
City Clerk.

The City of Duquesne does hereby adopt as its stormwater management
plan the Stormwater Management Plan, City of Duquesne, Missouri, MOR04C057
2021-2026, prepared by Allgeier, Martin and Associates, Inc.

A. No residential, commercial or industrial building shall be erected
within the City of Duquesne unless it is located within six hundred
(600) feet of a fire hydrant served with a minimum water supply line
size of eight (8) inches in diameter. The distance to a fire hydrant
shall be measured along street lines as vehicles travel between the
structure and the fire hydrant; provided, however, upon a motion passed
by three-fourths (3/4) of the members of the Board of Aldermen and
upon good cause which shall be made a part of the record, the required
distance between a fire hydrant and a building may be increased or
decreased to provide for special circumstances.
B. Provided, further, before plotting the specific locations for new
fire hydrants, the Fire Chief or his/her designee must be consulted
to ensure that all of the operational and practical issues have been
considered prior to final placement of hydrants.
