Article I Salaries and Compensation

To fit the alphabetical organization of the Code, said chapter and article were redesignated as Ch. 49, Supervisors, Board of, Art. I, Salaries and Compensation.

§ 49-1 Compensation.

Each supervisor of Forks Township elected or appointed to office on or after the effective date of this section shall receive compensation as a Supervisor in the annual amount of $6,915.00.

§ 49-2 Payment installments.

Such compensation shall be paid in monthly installments.

Article II Supervisor Restrictions

§ 49-3 Holding of other elective or appointive office prohibited; exception.

No Township Supervisor shall at the same time hold any other elective or appointive Township office or position; provided that a Township Supervisor may be appointed as Secretary-Treasurer and/or a Planning Commission member.

§ 49-4 Paid employment by Township prohibited; exception.

No Township Supervisor shall at the same time be a paid employee of the Township; provided that a Township Supervisor may be appointed as a paid Secretary-Treasurer.

§ 49-5 Employment prohibition upon expiration of term.

No current or future Township Supervisor shall become a paid employee of the Township for two years after the Township Supervisor's term of office has ended.
