Magazines containing explosives shall be located at distances from neighboring buildings, highways and railroads in conformity with the American Quantity and Distance Table; provided that one (1) portable magazine kept securely locked and conspicuously marked "MAGAZINE — EXPLOSIVES!" containing not more than fifty (50) pounds of explosives may be allowed in a building not occupied as a dwelling or place of public assembly if placed on wheels and located not more than ten (10) feet from, on the same floor with, and directly opposite to the entrance on the floor nearest the street level, and one (1) similar portable magazine containing not more than five thousand (5,000) blasting caps may be allowed if placed on wheels and located on the floor nearest the street level. Blasting caps or detonators of any kind shall not be kept in the same magazine with other explosives.
