A. Performance Requirement. Each room shall have adequate natural or
artificial illumination to permit normal, indoor activities and to
support the health and safety of occupants. Sufficient electrical
sources shall be provided to permit use of essential electrical appliances
while assuring safety from fire.
B. Minimum Ventilation Requirements.

The dwelling unit shall be free from dangerous levels of air
pollution, such as carbon monoxide, sewer gas, fuel gas, dust and
harmful air pollutants.
2.
All living rooms and sleeping rooms shall include at least one
(1) window which can be opened.
C. Outlet Requirements.
1.
Two (2) electrical outlets, of which only one (1) may be an
overhead or wall light, shall be present and operable in the living
room and in each bedroom. At least one (1) duplex convenience outlet
is required.
2.
A ceiling or wall-type light fixture shall be present and working
in the bathroom and kitchen area. In addition, at least one (1) duplex
convenience outlet is required.
D. Bathroom Ventilation Requirements. Bathroom areas shall have one
(1) openable window or other adequate exhaust ventilation.
E. Window Requirements. Windows shall be glazed and fit properly and
have adequate inside locks for safety.
