All construction in the Village shall comply with the requirements of Sections 319.200 through 319.207, RSMo., and any amendments thereto, relating to earthquakes and seismic construction requirements.

A.
Purpose. The purpose of this Section is to avoid damages and repair roadways in the Village of Theodosia and provide safety to the citizens commuting on the Village roads.
B.
Conditions Of Issuance. All persons shall notify the Village Board prior to any hauling of heavy equipment, construction, installation of sewer lines and/or water lines or other activities or services which may cause damage to the Village roads in the Village of Theodosia. All contractors shall obtain approval from the Village Board of the Village of Theodosia for the placement of sewer lines and/or water lines, culverts and/or fill onto Village roads.
C.
Violations. Anyone doing damage to any roads and/or ditches while in the process of hauling, construction, installation of sewer lines and/or water lines or other activities or services shall be properly notified and responsible for the repair of such damages as they occur. If said damages are not repaired by the responsible party, the Village will make all necessary repairs or hire the work done, and all costs or related bills will be forwarded to the responsible party for collection.
