It shall be unlawful for any owner, lessee, or occupant, or any agent, representative or employee of any such owner, lessee, or occupant having control of any lot or tract of ground abutting on any arterial street in the Village to plant and grow, or permit to be planted and grown, field corn or other crop or dense vegetation growing over three feet in height on any lot or tract of land which obstructs the view of pedestrians and operators of motor vehicles insofar as the private drives, alleys and streets intersecting such arterial street in the Village.
It is hereby declared that each and every day the field corn or other crop or dense vegetation is so planted or grown as above prohibited shall be a separate offense.
Any person, firm, or corporation violating any of the provisions of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to penalties as set forth in Chapter 1, Article III, of the Village Code.
