It shall be unlawful for any undertaker or any other person, association, firm or corporation to bury or inter any deceased person at any place within the Borough limits of the Borough of Souderton, or to erect, keep, maintain or establish any cemetery or place for burial or interment of deceased persons within the Borough limits of the Borough of Souderton, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, unless such cemetery or place for burial or interment was established and in use for such purpose on the first day of January 1960.

Any person, firm or corporation who or which shall violate any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine of not less than $50 nor more than $300 and costs of prosecution, or be imprisoned in the Montgomery County Prison for a term not to exceed 30 days, or both.
