City of Lock Haven, PA Article VI Shade Tree Commission

[Adopted 3-7-1977 by Ord. No. 24B (Ch. 1, Part 5E, of the 2003 Code of Ordinances)]

§ 30-19 Commission established.

A Shade Tree Commission is hereby created in and for the City of Lock Haven. Said Commission shall be constituted as provided by the Third Class City Code, Act of 1931, June 23, P.L. 932, Article XXXVIII, as amended, 53 P.S. § 38801 et seq.,[1] and shall perform all the duties and may exercise all the powers conferred by law upon shade tree commissions of cities of the third class.

§ 30-20 Authority to assess penalties.

The Shade Tree Commission may assess penalties of not more than $25 for each and every violation of any regulation of such Commission or of any of the provisions of Article XXXVIII of the Third Class City Code, cited in § 30-19, so far as it relates to shade trees.
